NaNoWriMo: Thirty Days. Fifty Thousand Words.
That's the goal at least!
Today I start on my new novel, Sister Cities, and I couldn't be more excited. As I type this post, I've written over 200 words for my novel!
I have a word goal for every day, and since November is such a busy month, the goals vary by day. I like to stretch myself when setting goals, hence this challenge, but I don't like to say that I'll write 5,000 words on Thanksgiving, which I know will be busy and full of so many other things. So, today the goal is around 5,000 words, and next weekend the goal is much smaller!
Next weekend is our twice annual Carolinas Meetup, and I can't wait to see some of my wonderful friends in Greenville for three days of awesomeness!
Today I write, tomorrow I write, for at the weekend we dine!
If you've ever wanted to write a novel, this is a great time to get involved in a supportive organization that helps writers all over the world! NaNoWriMo has inspired thousands of novels, and yours could be next! Hit me up on www.nanowrimo.com and be my writing buddy! I'm StephLJ over there too.
